Established in 2024, THPASA is dedicated to promoting and protecting the interests of traditional health practitioners (THPs) across South Africa. Our mission is to uphold the integrity of traditional healing, advocate for our members in key government and health sectors, and create public awareness about the significance of traditional medicine.

We are committed to fostering peer support, encouraging education and training, and advancing research in medicinal plants to expand knowledge in the field.
